Youth Pool Party
The ZBCY will enjoy a pool party at the Hetrick's home from 6:00-9:00 on Sunday, August 2. Dinner will be provided, and families will need to provide transportation to the party.The sign up below is helpful to give us a head count of youth attending, but youth are welcome to bring friends for a fun time of food and fellowship.
Youth to Fantasy Lake
Due to storms on Thursday, July 23, we were forced to reschedule our outing to Fantasy Lake. We will take a rain check on Wednesday, August 5. We will meet by the vans at 4:00. If you signed up previously, please sign up again to insure we have accurate participation numbers. Sign up will end, Wednesday, July 29.
Bring $45 and to cover your entry ticket and any money you would like for concessions (chips, drinks, ice cream). Additionally, you will need a bathing suit, a towel, sun screen, and dry clothes to change into. They do have lockers for rental in the park. We will also pack a cooler for snacks / dinner, so bring items you would like to fit into the cooler. See Lauren Glasgow with any questions.

Youth Summer Sunset
Sunday, August 9, the youth will meet on the front lawn to watch the sunset and then travel to Sunset Slush for a frozen treat to end the night. Youth will need to bring a blanket to sit out on the lawn and money for their treat!
Welcome to Youth Dinner
Sunday, August 16, the rising 8th grade youth and families ,as well as the current youth and families are invited to the Blue Room for a "Welcome to Youth" dinner. Families are encouraged to bring a side and dessert to supplement the chicken that will be provided. We will also go over the fall 2026 youth calendar.
Youth Pizza and Movie Night
We are having a movie night at ZBC! Sunday, July 19, the youth will meet in the Blue Room to enjoy a movie and pizza together. Bring your own comfy items (chairs, pillows, etc.) to enjoy the movie together. We will meet at 7:00 and will conclude around 9:00.
Youth Beach Day
Wednesday, June 24, the ZBCY will be going to the BEACH! Youth will need to bring items for the beach (towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, etc.), a change of dry clothes, a bag lunch for the cooler to eat on the beach, and money for dinner. Sign up has ended. See Lauren Glasgow with any specific questions.
Youth to Kings Dominion
Thursday, June 18, the youth will take a trip to Kings Dominion. We will meet by the van at 7:45. Sign up is required to attend, but youth will need to purchase their tickets ahead of time through the Kings Dominion website.
Sign up will close Sunday, June 14. There are many meal and drink plans--so plan accordingly with buying ahead or bringing payment. Youth will need to eat breakfast before leaving, and will need money for lunch / dinner.

Youth Pool Day
Sunday, May 17, after worship, the ZBCY are invited to the Hetrick’s home for some fun in the sun! Youth are welcome to meet in the Blue Room following worship and ride in the church van to the Hetrick’s to enjoy lunch and swimming / hanging out at the pool.
We will end our afternoon together around 3:00, and parents may pick their youth up from the Hetrick’s home. See Lauren with any questions.
Youth Mission Project / Kentucky Derby Party
Saturday, May 2, the youth will have an afternoon and missions and fellowship. We will meet in the Blue Room at 3:00 to help clean and organize the ZBC Food Pantry. We will even learn a little about this wonderful ministry to our eastern Wake community.
Followed by our Kentucky Derby party at 5:00 in the Blue Room with snacks, games, and watching the Kentucky Derby race.
Youth Spring Retreat
We have rescheduled our Winter Retreat for a SPRING Retreat, April 17-19. The Youth will be going back to the Old Greer House in Banner Elk, NC, and enjoy some of the warm weather in the NC mountains. Sign up below by Wednesday, March 11.
Youth to ParTee Shack
Saturday, March 28, the ZBCY will be going out to ParTee Shack in Raleigh. Bring $20 for putt-putt, and additional money for a fast food lunch on the way home. This is a fun twist on the traditional putt-putt, so come for a fun parTEE!!
ZBCY Winter Retreat
Please Note: This Event Will Be Rescheduled Due to the Threat of Inclement Weather: The ZBCY will go to the Old Greer House in Banner Elk, NC, for the Winter Retreat from January 30 - February 1. The cost of the weekend is $200 which includes lodging, tubing experience, and retreat shirt. Sign-ups have concluded.
ZBCY Skating Outing
The ZBCY will be going out to skate on Sunday, January 11. We will gather in the Blue Room after worship. Sign up if you would like to attend. Remember to bring money for skating ($15) and money for a fast food lunch. Please sign up by Wednesday, January 7.
Youth New Year's Eve Lock-In
Youth will celebrate bringing in 2026 with a lock-in! Meet in the Blue Room for fun games and snacks. Sign up at myzbc.org/events by Sunday, Dec. 21.
Youth Kanki and Movie Outing
Youth will eat at Kanki in Raleigh and go see “Wicked: For Good.” Please bring $15 for the movie ticket and money for lunch. Sign up at myzbc.org/events by Sunday, Dec. 14.
Youth Christmas Party
All youth are invited to enjoy a fun night together in the Blue Room. Plan to wear your cozy Christmas PJs and make gingerbread houses. See Lauren Glasgow with any questions.
Youth Live Nativity Outing
Youth are invited to witness “Walk Through Bethlehem,” a presentation of the Nativity story, at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church. Youth will meet at the vans and travel to enjoy the live nativity, then go to Chip and Michal Henry’s home for snacks. This is a free event, but please sign up with Lauren Glasgow at lauren.glasgow@myzbc.org by Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Youth-Sponsored Veterans Day Luncheon
Our Senior Adult Ministry and Youth Ministry will combine to host a Veterans Day Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. All Veterans and their families will be recognized, and all Senior Adults will be invited to the lunch. Please let the church office, Lauren Glasgow, or Barbara Glasgow know if you plan on attending by Sunday, November 9!! Please let us know when you sign up, if you are a Veteran!! Youth Living Faith Weekend
Living Faith Weekend is Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19. We will be staying in Zebulon and staying in host homes. Friday night the youth will enjoy an outing to the NC State Fair, followed by a local mission project Saturday morning, bonfire Saturday night, and wrapping up the weekend Sunday morning with breakfast, Sunday School, and worship. Sign up by Sunday, September 28, by going to myzbc.org. Payment of $75 is due by Wednesday, October 15, which includes food and a themed shirt from the weekend.
ZBCY to Gipson Park
This event is rescheduled for after worship on Sunday, September 28. The youth will head out together to Gipson Park Plaza. Youth can bring a blanket, a bag lunch, an outdoor game, and money for a sweet treat. Sign up below by Wednesday, September 24. Be sure to sign up again—even if you signed up previously.
Sign up for Passport Camp 2026
Summer 2026 includes two Passport Camp opportunities!
Students who have completed grades 7-12 can sign up to participate in Passport Choices at Converse University July 5-10. ($548 per person*)
Students who have completed grades 3-6 can sign up to participate in Passport Kids at Montreat University July 6-9. ($408 per person*)
Please register your child by clicking the link below, and by submitting a $100 deposit to Zebulon Baptist Church no later than Sunday, September 28.
*ZBC hopes to subsidize most, if not all, of the camp cost after the initial registration deposit. We want every child who wishes to participate in Passport to be able to go. If cost presents a hardship for your family, please contact our church office and speak with one of our ministers.

Welcome to Youth Dinner

Youth Sunset and Sunset Slush

Youth Mudcats Game
Youth are invited to enjoy a baseball game, followed by fireworks, at Five County Stadium. The Carolina Mudcats will take on the Lynchburg Hillcats.
Youth End-of-Summer Pool Party
Youth will celebrate the end of summer at a pool party at the Hetrick’s home.
ZBCY 2025 Mission Trip
The youth in 10th-12th grade will have a chance to participate in the youth mission trip this summer. We are going to Cultivate Abundance in Immokalee, Florida, July 20-27, and partnering with CBF Field Personnel, Ellen and Rick Burnette.
Cultivate Abundance is an organization addressing food insecurity and other livelihood challenges of low-income farmers in the communities of Southwest Florida.
Their mission is to mobilize appropriate resources to eliminate hunger and enable small-scale food production in vulnerable households and communities. Our youth will be preparing for this mission trip throughout the year with team meetings and then plugging into Cultivate Abundances’ mission projects once we arrive.
Passport Choices
Our kids who have completed 7th-12th grades will head to Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina, for a creative discipleship camp that allows students the freedom to customize their camp experience, explore their passions and inform their faith journey through missions, mentorship and fun!
Vacation Bible School
Come join us this summer June 30-July 3 from 9 a.m.-noon for Vacation Bible School. Classes will be available for rising kindergarteners to rising eighth-graders.
This year, we will take kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Guiding them toward Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
Youth Sunday Night Live
Youth will meet at Lauren and Jackson Glasgow’s home to finish their enneagram study and enjoy dinner together.
Youth White Lake Water Park Day
Youth will go to the White Lake Water Park to enjoy a day together. Sign up by Sunday, June 22, if you plan to attend. Youth will need to bring $22 for a ticket purchased at the park, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.
Additionally, youth will need to pack a bagged lunch (we will store in the cooler) or money for lunch. We will stop and get dinner at a fast food restaurant on the way home. Please Lauren Glasgow with any questions.
ZBCY End-of-Year Cookout
Youth are encouraged to bring their favorite cookout side and/or dessert to share in the Blue Room.
VBS Faculty Meeting
All VBS volunteers will meet in the Fellowship Hall in preparation for our VBS week June 30-July 3.
Youth Kentucky Derby Party
Join us for our annual Kentucky Derby Party in the Blue Room. Come for fun and refreshments!
ZBCY Spring Lock In
The ZBCY "Made New" Spring Lock In is Friday, April 18, from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Youth will need to bring $15 for late night bowling and around $10 for a meal off campus. Sign up by Sunday, April 13, by going to the link below.
