ZBCY Winter Retreat
Please Note: This Event Will Be Rescheduled Due to the Threat of Inclement Weather: The ZBCY will go to the Old Greer House in Banner Elk, NC, for the Winter Retreat from January 30 - February 1. The cost of the weekend is $200 which includes lodging, tubing experience, and retreat shirt. Sign-ups have concluded.

Wednesday night mission classes can fill up their food box each week to replenish our food pantry to help feed our community.
Preschool and Children's Valentine Party
Join us for lunch in the Blue room on Sunday, Feb 8th following worship. After lunch, K-3rd graders will be making Valentine's Day cards to send to our shut-ins while preschoolers enjoy decorating a Valentine cookie in the 3/4 year old classroom. Juniors Lunch and Acolyte Training

ZBC Thrives: Dinner & Conversation with Rev. Colin Kroll
Join us for a free dinner for all ages in our Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm on Sunday, February 15. After our meal, we will have activities for children through Grade 3. Meanwhile CBF’s Colin Kroll will lead us in a churchwide conversation as part of our Helping Churches Thrive experience.

Senior Adult Pancake Breakfast
All Senior Adults are invited to a pancake breakfast on Tuesday, February 17 at 9:00. We will enjoy pancakes and time to talk about our upcoming year. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know if you plan on attending by Sunday, February 15!!
Spring Senior Adult Rally
The Raleigh Baptist Association will be hosting a Spring Senior Adult Rally this year at Hayes Barton Baptist Church on Tuesday, March17. The program will include many different people. Rev. David Melber, CEO of Baptist Children’s Homes of NC will speak. Dr. David Hailey of Hayes Barton Baptist Church will share our devotional. Special music will be by the gospel quartet, The Social Security Boys. We will also enjoy a time of congregational singing led by Rev. Tyler Ingram and the music ministry team of Hayes Barton Baptist Church. Lunch will be served following the program. The menu for lunch is pork loin with gravy, rice, baked apples, green peas, corn muffins and desserts. We will be leaving ZBC at 8:30 am and return after lunch. The cost for the rally and lunch is $20.00 per person. The deadline for signing up and paying is Sunday, March 1st. Please give Barbara Glasgow or the church office your money (cash or a check made out to Raleigh Baptist Association) when you sign up. Check your calendars and sign up today!!
SENIOR ADULTS TO THE NC MUSEUM OF ART “The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt”
On Thursday, January 22nd, our Senior Adults will travel to the North Carolina Museum of Art to see the special exhibit, “The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt”. We will leave from the church parking lot at 9:30 am to travel to the museum. On the way home we will enjoy lunch at Chicken Salad Chick on Lake Boone Trail. The cost for viewing the exhibit is $20.38 for persons 65 or older. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know you will be traveling with the group by Sunday, January 18.
Preschool Parent's Night Out
Bring your preschoolers for two hours of playtime. Make sure to feed them dinner before dropping then off in the nursery area. Please let Tammy Staples know how many preschoolers you will by bringing by Jan 14th. To sign up, email Tammy Staples at tammy.staples@myzbc.org.
Fast Food & Winter Games
Stop by your favorite fast food restaurant and bring it to the Blue room. Children and Juniors will eat together and then split into 2 groups for fun and games.
East Flat Rock Mission Trip
ZBC is sending a team back to East Flat Rock, NC January 14-17, 2026 in collaboration with Baptist on Mission. BOM has a new hosting facility in the area complete with dormitories, cooking and dining areas, and restrooms with showers, so that teams can comfortably stay, rest and recharge after each day of service.
Volunteers who would like to participate in the rebuilding effort in Western North Carolina should contact team leader, Roger Mitchell and sign up no later than Monday, December 8.
ZBCY Skating Outing
The ZBCY will be going out to skate on Sunday, January 11. We will gather in the Blue Room after worship. Sign up if you would like to attend. Remember to bring money for skating ($15) and money for a fast food lunch. Please sign up by Wednesday, January 7.
Youth New Year's Eve Lock-In
Youth will celebrate bringing in 2026 with a lock-in! Meet in the Blue Room for fun games and snacks. Sign up at myzbc.org/events by Sunday, Dec. 21.
Youth Kanki and Movie Outing

ZBC Christmas Caroling
Zebulon Baptist Church is going Christmas Caroling on the afternoon of Sunday, December 21. We will gather at ZBC at 4:00pm to enjoy a festive time of refreshments, fellowship and music, before Barbara will send groups of carolers out to bring Christmas cheer to our homebound church members. We will need families to travel together in their vehicles.

College/Career Christmas Party
All College and Career students are invited to our annual Christmas party. We will meet in the Blue Room and go off campus for a fun night of fellowship!
Senior Adult Holiday Luncheon
All Senior Adults are invited to our Christmas Luncheon on Friday, December 12, in our Fellowship Hall. We will enjoy a wonderful meal of turkey and dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls and desserts. We will enjoy a few holiday games, carols and a short devotional! Please bring 3 or more canned goods per person for our food pantry!! (Canned meats, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, peanut better, jelly, rice, dried beans, mac and cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruits, saltine crackers and cereal.) Lunch will begin at noon. Youth Live Nativity Outing
Youth are invited to witness “Walk Through Bethlehem,” a presentation of the Nativity story, at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church. Youth will meet at the vans and travel to enjoy the live nativity, then go to Chip and Michal Henry’s home for snacks. Youth-Sponsored Veterans Day Luncheon
Our Senior Adult Ministry and Youth Ministry will combine to host a Veterans Day Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. All Veterans and their families will be recognized, and all Senior Adults will be invited to the lunch. Bikes, Trikes, and Scooters Event!
For Preschool – 3rd Grade
Get ready to roll! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of riding and fellowship at our Bikes, Trikes & Scooters event!
Bring your favorite bike, tricycle, or scooter (don’t forget your helmet!) and enjoy a safe space to ride, play, and connect with friends. There will be riding tracks, snacks, and lots of fun!

Down East Christmas Show and Lunch
Join us for festive shopping at the Down East Christmas Show in Greenville. Afterward, we will enjoy lunch together at Parker’s Barbecue. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know as soon as possible if you plan on attending.
We will leave the ZBC parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and return after lunch.
Juniors Outing to Galaxy Fun Park
Who: Juniors (Grades 4-7)
What: An outing to Galaxy Fun Park
Where: 14460 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27614
When: Sunday, November 2, leaving ZBC at 11:45am and returning 4:00pm
Cost: $30 per person
1 hour in the trampoline area, including socks
2 slices of pizza and a drink
1 hour of unlimited select attractions (laser tag, go karts, mini golf and more)

REQUIRED:
Each participant must bring with them a paper copy of the Galaxy Fun Park Waiver, signed by a parent or guardian.
Each participant must wear closed toe shoes.
Senior Adult Halloween Party
Senior Adults will enjoy games, food and fellowship at an early afternoon Halloween Party in the Fellowship Hall.
Fundraiser for Passport Camp
The Fishers of Men (Men’s 1) Sunday School class is sponsoring a churchwide fundraiser on Saturday, October 25th from 11:00am until 3:00pm. They will cook and serve BBQ chicken plates in the front parking lot of the church. Plates cost $12 each.
All net proceeds support our Youth & Children as they prepare for Passport Camps in Summer 2026, helping to cover camp dues so every student can go.

We’d love your help in preparing for this event, or on the day of the event, to ensure this is a success. We are accepting:
Uncooked food or donations toward food (green beans, potatoes, bread) to help reduce our costs
Prepared desserts: brownies, cookies, cakes (bagged and pre-cut, to be placed in each meal tray)
Volunteers to help prepare, cook, and distribute food during the day of the event

Youth Living Faith Weekend
Living Faith Weekend is Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19. We will be staying in Zebulon and staying in host homes. Friday night the youth will enjoy an outing to the NC State Fair, followed by a local mission project Saturday morning, bonfire Saturday night, and wrapping up the weekend Sunday morning with breakfast, Sunday School, and worship. Sign up by Sunday, September 28, by going to myzbc.org. Payment of $75 is due by Wednesday, October 15, which includes food and a themed shirt from the weekend.
Mission to Western NC
Please be in prayer for the team we are sending to East Flat Rock, North Carolina this week to assist with the rebuilding efforts, and to transport donated school supplies to middle and high school students in the area.
Senior Adult Breakfast at Yoder's
Senior Adults to Yoder’s in Grifton, NC Plan to travel to Yoder’s Dutch Pantry and Restaurant on Monday, September 29. We will enjoy a great breakfast and then visit their bakery and general store. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know is you will attend by Wednesday, September 24.
ZBCY to Gipson Park
This event is rescheduled for after worship on Sunday, September 28. The youth will head out together to Gipson Park Plaza. Youth can bring a blanket, a bag lunch, an outdoor game, and money for a sweet treat. Sign up below by Wednesday, September 24. Be sure to sign up again—even if you signed up previously.

Sign up for Passport Camp 2026
Summer 2026 includes two Passport Camp opportunities!
Students who have completed grades 7-12 can sign up to participate in Passport Choices at Converse University July 5-10. ($548 per person*)
Students who have completed grades 3-6 can sign up to participate in Passport Kids at Montreat University July 6-9. ($408 per person*)
Please register your child by clicking the link below, and by submitting a $100 deposit to Zebulon Baptist Church no later than Sunday, September 28.
*ZBC hopes to subsidize most, if not all, of the camp cost after the initial registration deposit. We want every child who wishes to participate in Passport to be able to go. If cost presents a hardship for your family, please contact our church office and speak with one of our ministers.

Wednesday Night Kickoff Event
Mark your calendars now for our Wednesday Night Kickoff Celebration! The event will include a hot dog and hamburger dinner, inflatables and lots of fun! All are welcome to come and learn about our opportunities for missions, music and Bible Study, and enjoy the fun and fellowship. Members are encouraged to pick up fliers after worship in the Sanctuary to hand out to friends and neighbors; this event will be open to the community!
Welcome to Youth Dinner
Rising 8th-grade youth and their families, as well as current youth and their families, are invited to the Blue Room for a special dinner. Families are encouraged to bring a side and dessert to supplement the chicken that will be provided. We will also go over the fall 2025 youth calendar.
Senior Adult Cookout
