Youth Mission Project / Kentucky Derby Party
Saturday, May 2, the youth will have an afternoon and missions and fellowship. We will meet in the Blue Room at 3:00 to help clean and organize the ZBC Food Pantry. We will even learn a little about this wonderful ministry to our eastern Wake community.
Followed by our Kentucky Derby party at 5:00 in the Blue Room with snacks, games, and watching the Kentucky Derby race.
Youth Pool Day
Sunday, May 17, after worship, the ZBCY are invited to the Hetrick’s home for some fun in the sun! Youth are welcome to meet in the Blue Room following worship and ride in the church van to the Hetrick’s to enjoy lunch and swimming / hanging out at the pool.
We will end our afternoon together around 3:00, and parents may pick their youth up from the Hetrick’s home. See Lauren with any questions.

Preschool & Children's Playtime at the Park
Come play at the new park in Wendell called Hollybrook Park located at
1209 S. Hollybrook Road on Sunday May 17th from 2:00pm-3:30pm.
There are 2 different playgrounds and a zip line to explore. See you there!
Senior Adult Picnic
All Senior Adults are invited to a picnic at church on Tuesday, May 19, at noon. Our picnic lunch will be fried chicken, sandwiches, chips, fruit, brownies, cookies, tea and lemonade. We will eat in front of Building D (in the shade near the bell). Please sign up by Sunday, May 17, so Barbara knows how much to fix for lunch!
Vacation Bible School
Zebulon Baptist Church is excited to welcome all rising kindergarteners through rising 8th graders to our “Snowball Mountain Challenge” VBS this summer. During the week of June 29th-July 3rd, Challengers will meet with Ollie, the Arctic Seal, and the Activities Director to learn how God helps Bible heroes face challenges. Through stories from the New and Old Testaments, Challengers will learn that with the strength God provides through Jesus, they can do more than they ever dreamed possible. Challengers will participate in music, art, recreation, snacks, activities, and Bible lessons to learn that they can share their gifts with others, be brave, and give their all in everything they do, pray, and hope.

Nursery & Preschool Shower
Everyone will have an opportunity to purchase items from an online wish list for our nursery and preschool classrooms beginning April 6th. A list website link will be in our bulletins and weekly email updates. You can bring your unwrapped gift to the nursery area after worship on Sunday, April 26th where the gifts will be displayed. We will serve light refreshments.
Juniors to Tap It in Wendell
The juniors are headed to Tap It in Wendell on Sunday, April 19th after worship. Lunch will be provided, just bring money for games. We will return to church at 2pm. Please let Tammy Staples know if you can go by Wednesday, April 15th.
NC Zoo
Join us as we caravan to the NC Zoo in Asheboro on Saturday, April 18th. Pack a picnic or bring money for lunch. Go online to nczoo.org to purchase your tickets. Please let Tammy Staples know if you are going. All age-group families are welcome!
Youth Spring Retreat
We have rescheduled our Winter Retreat for a SPRING Retreat, April 17-19. The Youth will be going back to the Old Greer House in Banner Elk, NC, and enjoy some of the warm weather in the NC mountains. Sign up below by Wednesday, March 11.
Easter Egg Hunt
Make sure to join us as our preschoolers, children, and juniors hunt for eggs on March 29th after worship. Be sure to bring your basket or bucket!
Youth to ParTee Shack
Saturday, March 28, the ZBCY will be going out to ParTee Shack in Raleigh. Bring $20 for putt-putt, and additional money for a fast food lunch on the way home. This is a fun twist on the traditional putt-putt, so come for a fun parTEE!!
Helping Churches Thrive Lunch & Conversation
Sunday, March 22, we will have our next Helping Churches Thrive event!
All ages are invited to join us after worship for a free lunch in our Fellowship Hall. The menu consists of barbecued chicken, rice, green beans and dessert.
Following our meal, we will have childcare for children up to Grade 3, and we will invite all others to remain for our next churchwide conversation around this month's thriving characteristic: Cultivating Leaders.

Spring Senior Adult Rally
The Raleigh Baptist Association will be hosting a Spring Senior Adult Rally this year at Hayes Barton Baptist Church on Tuesday, March17. The program will include many different people. Rev. David Melber, CEO of Baptist Children’s Homes of NC will speak. Dr. David Hailey of Hayes Barton Baptist Church will share our devotional. Special music will be by the gospel quartet, The Social Security Boys. We will also enjoy a time of congregational singing led by Rev. Tyler Ingram and the music ministry team of Hayes Barton Baptist Church. Lunch will be served following the program. The menu for lunch is pork loin with gravy, rice, baked apples, green peas, corn muffins and desserts. We will be leaving ZBC at 8:30 am and return after lunch. The cost for the rally and lunch is $20.00 per person. The deadline for signing up and paying is Sunday, March 1st. Please give Barbara Glasgow or the church office your money (cash or a check made out to Raleigh Baptist Association) when you sign up. Check your calendars and sign up today!!
Juniors to ParTee Shack

Spring Cleaning and Organization Day
Nursery, Preschool, Children's, and Juniors Classrooms
Please come out and help us clean and organize our children's classrooms. We need all teachers, volunteers, parents, and anyone with special organization skills to join in. All are welcome!
Preschool and Children's Camping "In" Party
We will start our camping "in" party together in the Fellowship hall with a hotdog dinner at 5:30pm. At 6:00pm our preschoolers will move to the 3-4 year old classroom where they will play in tents and enjoy story time until 7:00pm. Preschoolers are welcome to wear their favorite pajamas. Our K-3rd grade children will move to the Blue room at 6:00pm where they will play camping games, make s'mores by "campfire", and tell not-so-scary ghost stories. All kids should bring a blanket or sleeping bag. Anyone who would like to bring a stuffed animal can leave it in their classroom to be picked up during Sunday school. K-3rd activities will end at 8:00pm. Let Tammy Staples know if you can camp "in" with us by Wednesday, March 4th.

Segue Youth Choir
Segue (Youth Choir Festival) will be on Saturday, February 28th at Wake Forest Baptist Church in Wake Forest. Our youth choir members will leave the church at 8:30 AM and enjoy a wonderful day of singing anthems together with other youth choirs from different churches in the area. The worship concert is open to the public and will begin at 5:00 pm
Senior Adult Pancake Breakfast
All Senior Adults are invited to a pancake breakfast on Tuesday, February 17 at 9:00. We will enjoy pancakes and time to talk about our upcoming year. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know if you plan on attending by Sunday, February 15!!
ZBC Thrives: Dinner & Conversation with Rev. Colin Kroll

We look forward to seeing all who signed up for a free dinner for all ages in our Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm on Sunday, February 15. After our meal, we will have activities for children through Grade 3. Meanwhile CBF’s Colin Kroll will lead us in a churchwide conversation as part of our Helping Churches Thrive experience.

Preschool and Children's Valentine Party
Join us for lunch in the Blue room on Sunday, Feb 8th following worship. After lunch, K-3rd graders will be making Valentine's Day cards to send to our shut-ins while preschoolers enjoy decorating a Valentine cookie in the 3/4 year old classroom. ZBC Kids Mission Project
“Fill the Box to Feed Our Neighbors”
Wednesday night mission classes can fill up their food box each week to replenish our food pantry to help feed our community.

ZBCY Winter Retreat
Please Note: This Event Will Be Rescheduled Due to the Threat of Inclement Weather: The ZBCY will go to the Old Greer House in Banner Elk, NC, for the Winter Retreat from January 30 - February 1. The cost of the weekend is $200 which includes lodging, tubing experience, and retreat shirt. Sign-ups have concluded.
SENIOR ADULTS TO THE NC MUSEUM OF ART “The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt”
On Thursday, January 22nd, our Senior Adults will travel to the North Carolina Museum of Art to see the special exhibit, “The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt”. We will leave from the church parking lot at 9:30 am to travel to the museum. On the way home we will enjoy lunch at Chicken Salad Chick on Lake Boone Trail. The cost for viewing the exhibit is $20.38 for persons 65 or older. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know you will be traveling with the group by Sunday, January 18.
Preschool Parent's Night Out

Fast Food & Winter Games
Stop by your favorite fast food restaurant and bring it to the Blue room. Children and Juniors will eat together and then split into 2 groups for fun and games.
East Flat Rock Mission Trip
ZBC is sending a team back to East Flat Rock, NC January 14-17, 2026 in collaboration with Baptist on Mission. BOM has a new hosting facility in the area complete with dormitories, cooking and dining areas, and restrooms with showers, so that teams can comfortably stay, rest and recharge after each day of service.
Volunteers who would like to participate in the rebuilding effort in Western North Carolina should contact team leader, Roger Mitchell and sign up no later than Monday, December 8.
ZBCY Skating Outing
The ZBCY will be going out to skate on Sunday, January 11. We will gather in the Blue Room after worship. Sign up if you would like to attend. Remember to bring money for skating ($15) and money for a fast food lunch. Please sign up by Wednesday, January 7.
Youth New Year's Eve Lock-In
Youth will celebrate bringing in 2026 with a lock-in! Meet in the Blue Room for fun games and snacks. Sign up at myzbc.org/events by Sunday, Dec. 21.
Youth Kanki and Movie Outing

ZBC Christmas Caroling
Zebulon Baptist Church is going Christmas Caroling on the afternoon of Sunday, December 21. We will gather at ZBC at 4:00pm to enjoy a festive time of refreshments, fellowship and music, before Barbara will send groups of carolers out to bring Christmas cheer to our homebound church members. We will need families to travel together in their vehicles.

College/Career Christmas Party
All College and Career students are invited to our annual Christmas party. We will meet in the Blue Room and go off campus for a fun night of fellowship!
Senior Adult Holiday Luncheon
All Senior Adults are invited to our Christmas Luncheon on Friday, December 12, in our Fellowship Hall. We will enjoy a wonderful meal of turkey and dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls and desserts. We will enjoy a few holiday games, carols and a short devotional! Please bring 3 or more canned goods per person for our food pantry!! (Canned meats, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, peanut better, jelly, rice, dried beans, mac and cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruits, saltine crackers and cereal.) Lunch will begin at noon. Please let Barbara Glasgow or the church office know if you are coming by noon on Monday, December 8.
