Children’s Ministry at ZBC
Zebulon Baptist Church believes that one of our greatest responsibilities is teaching children about the love God has for each one of us, so they can explore what an adventure-filled life in relationship with Jesus Christ is all about. We offer a variety of programs and events for preschoolers, children in Kindergarten through third grade, and for older children, whom we call “Juniors,” in grades 4 through 7.
Preschool Ministry
Our ministry with all preschoolers, infant to 4 years old
Our Preschool Ministry provides a caring and nurturing environment for your preschoolers to grow in their understanding of God’s love.
Our Preschool Ministry opportunities include:
Sunday morning Sunday School from 9am-10:15am
Sunday morning childcare and activities during worship from 10:15am-11:30am
Wednesday evening Mission Friends (for 3- and 4-year old children), Building B, 6:30-7:00pm
Wednesday evening Music Mates Choir (for 3 and 4-year old children), Building B, 7:00-7:30pm
Fellowship and activities through the year including holiday and seasonal parties

Wednesday evening Cherub Choir, Building B, 7:00pm-7:30pm
Bible study events, including Vacation Bible School
Fellowship and activities through the year including holiday and seasonal parties, as well as trips to parks, zoos, and various play spaces
Junior Ministry
Our ministry with school age children, 4th through 7th graders
Our Juniors Ministry prepares our pre-teens to begin using their Christian faith to make decisions and to help them grow in their Christian discipleship.
Our Juniors Ministry opportunities include:
Sunday morning Sunday School from 9am-10:15am
Wednesday evening Mission groups, Building B, 6:30pm-7:00pm
Wednesday evening Juniors Choir, choir room, 7:00pm-7:30pm
Summer Camp (PASSPORTkids)
Monthly fellowship and activities through the year, including events such as scavenger hunts, putt-putt, game nights, and lunch and dinner outings.
